Director’s wife had a crush on John Abraham

Director Abbas Tyrewala’s wife Pakhi makes her acting debut opposite John Abraham in the movie Jhootha Hi Sahi. It’s a film scripted by Pakhi herself in the college days when she used to be a die-hard fan of John. So besotted was she with the actor that she wrote an entire romantic script keeping John and herself in mind for the lead roles.

“I wrote this script for John when I was in college. But at that time, he wasn't available. Then after my marriage, Abbas had gone to talk to John for another project...that's when he happened to mention this. And John immediately said 'I'm on'. There was no chance to think of anybody else for the role. It was always John from the beginning,” Pakhi is quoted as saying by a news agency.

The 26-year-old debutante recalls the days when she used to be a crazy fan of John.

“Just like every crazy fan, even I used to collect a lot of pictures of John and even my mobile caller tune used to be his song Aawaarapan (from Jism). It was my dream to work with him,” she revealed.

But wasn’t her husband Abbas Tyrewala jealous when Pakhi insisted on casting John for the film. Moreover, she even did some intimate scenes with the actor.

“Abbas is a very secure person and he has no problems with my male friends. He understands...” she said.
