In one of the recent events attended by Deepika Padukone and Siddharth Mallya, all eyes were glued to Siddharth, and it was not just because of the beautiful Deepika who was accompanying him.
The event was a charity auction organised by actor Rahul Bose, who is also a sportsman, and in the auction one of the items was Deepika’a father Prakash Padukone’s medals. The Mallya scion was expected to bid for those medals. The public thought so for obvious reasons; moreover, bidding is very much a Mallya style.
Alas, Siddharth didn’t! As a source tells a daily, “We were sorely disappointed that Siddharth made no attempt to buy Deepika’s dad's medal. It was picked up by a stranger.”
