Salman, Shahrukh tweet about Obama visit

US President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle won the hearts of Mumbaikars at the start of their Indian tour. Bollywood celebs have reacted variedly to the American President’s visit.

Even days before Obama landed in Mumbai, Shahrukh Khan joked about the President’s visit by talking about his character from My Name Is Khan.

“American president is in India. If I had known wouldn't have gone looking for him all over America instead met him in Andheri or Ghatkopar,” SRK tweeted.

Actor Rahul Bose spoke of Obama’s interaction with students in Mumbai.

“Brilliant interaction between Obama & students. The President at his best. Michelle too was warm, easy. Well done students. Great questions!” Bose tweeted.

Salman Khan, on the other hand, was more jocular. He wrote: “U think Mr. Rajnikanth will give Obama his darshan???”

Actor Anupam Kher wished Obama to come to India often.

“Off to Hyderabad for a performance. Mr. Obama, come at least once a year. (The) Roads were less bumpy. So things can happen if government wishes,” Anupam posted on his Twitter page.

Preity Zinta hoped Obama would fall in love with India.

“Airport today had too much security & few passengers. I hear President Obama arrives today. I'm sure he will fall in love with India :-)” she tweeted.
