Bollywood beauty Katrina Kaif has been named the Sexiest Woman in the World for the third year in a row, beating off competition from her contemporaries.

Katrina mania shows no sign of abating. The lady’s first item song Sheila Ki Jawani is all the rage among movie buffs and now she has topped London-based newspaper Eastern Eye's list of the hottest women in the world. Yes, she has been voted the sexiest woman in the world.

What’s her response?

“I'm very happy that I have made it to the top of Eastern Eye's list again. England is of course a very special place to me and I think it's very sweet to be voted the sexiest by them. I just want to thank everyone for the support,” said the 26-year-old actress.

Eastern Eye is Britain's only national English language weekly serving the whole Asian community in the UK. The list was calculated on the basis of the most photographed women in the world and the most in-demand with film producers and fans.

Priyanka Chopra narrowly missed out on the top spot by finishing second for the second year in a row. Pakistani actress Mehwish Hayat came eighth, a spot behind Kareena Kapoor who came seventh.

Bipasha Basu occupied the third spot and Freida Pinto, India's most popular export to Hollywood, only managed a fourth position, while Lara Dutta rounded off the top five.
