Shahrukh Khan blasted for being ‘vulgar’
Recently Shahrukh Khan performed at a Bollywood event in Dhaka in front of a huge crowd. The King Khan has a huge fan following in Bangladesh and people thronged the stadium to watch him live, but the event was blasted by Bangladesh media that even called SRK the ‘king of vulgarity’.

The actor was there on December 10 along with Arjun Rampal, Rani Mukherjee, Esha Koppikar and Dia Mirza for a gala event at Army Stadium where around 30,000 people gathered shouting “Shahrukh, Shahrukh”.

But what is it that made Bangladesh media thrash the show and the King Khan? The local English tabloid Weekly Blitz has written off Shahrukh. The reporter writes, “People call him 'King Khan of Bollywood'! I would rather call him ‘King of vulgarity’.”

SRK is severely criticized for saying a Bangladeshi slang repeatedly from the dais. The tabloid has said that it shows that the star had no respect for the host country, and that his dance with several skimpily dressed Russian dancers wasn’t decent as the show was also watched by many on television. SRK’s lighting up a cigarette in the presence of cameras backstage has also not gone down well with the media because smoking in public places is banned in Bangladesh.

The tabloid has even condemned the organizers of the event for making many bogus promises in the name of SRK and not delivering any of those. The news has also kicked up an online war among the fans and detractors of Khan.

This was for the first time that so many Bollywood stars have performed in Dhaka; it’s reported that Shahrukh was paid whopping $200,000 for the show.

Yes some cheap tabloids are trying to get some cheap publicity. We love SRK and overwhelmed by his visiting Dhaka.

you must me out of your mind to quote this from a 3rd rated newpaper.. All top newspaper of Bd praised and gave an excellent review of the show.. And the people of Bd can speak for theirself..40000 in the show and millions watched in the TV..pls don\'t do yeallo journalism..
