Farhan and Zoya talked their hearts out on ‘Koffee With Karan’

Farhan Akhtar and Zoya Akhtar open up about Shabana Azmi
It was Karan Johar’s Koffee With Karan episode with childhood friend Farhan Akhtar and his talented sister Zoya Akhtar. The Akhtar siblings for the first time came on TV and talked about their stepmom Shabana Azmi.

The ambience was just right on the sets of Koffee With Karan as the three friends and filmmakers were bonding over what they feel passionate about, the movies. But the oh-so-amicable host also managed to ask Farhan and Zoya about their relationship with their father Javed Akhtar, stepmother Shabana Azmi, and how the Javed Akhtar-Honey Irani divorce affected their lives while they were very young.

Farhan revealed how he had trouble with his father when he went through a phase when things with dad weren't so rosy, but soon he got over it. Zoya too shared her crazy teenage days, and how Shabana Azmi gave her space in the beginning of the relationship.

Karan, Farhan and Zoya also shared laughs, remembering the funny incidents from their growing up years. Nothing could be as beautiful as friendship.
