‘Murder 2’ shooting disrupted by MNS
Bhatts had to call the police to control the situation

‘Murder 2’ shooting disrupted by MNS
Now MNS people have a problem with the ongoing shooting of Murder 2. The party members stormed into the sets of the film at Film City and wanted to examine cards of the crew workers.

Director Mohit Suri , who was on the sets, couldn’t understand why the party people had barged in and were demanding to examine cards of unit people; outraged at this disruption, the producers Mahesh and Mukesh Bhatt simply refused to comply, and called the police to solve the matter.

While talking to a tabloid, Mahesh Bhatt says, “The authority to examine unit members' cards belongs to the Film Federation and Cine Artistes Association. Mohit panicked and so he called me.” Mr. Bhatt sprang into action and not just called the cops, he even spoke to the Home Minister R.R Patil.

It’s learnt that MNS wanted their own people employed in place of others. Mukesh Bhatt speaks on the matter and tells the tabloid, “The MNS has started interfering in the film industry as if they have the power to do so. They want us to work with their people.”

This kind of interference from MNS is certainly not expected, but the party claims there is nothing wrong with it as some Murder 2 unit members don’t have the mandate from the association.
