‘Kites’ hottie Barbara Mori makes a comeback!

The Mexican hottie Barbara Mori started her Bollywood career with a dud, but signing her may burn a hole in the producers’ pockets. It’s heard that the damsel is charging a fee of approximately Rs 1 crore for an upcoming Hindi film.

Barbara’s Bollywood aspirations are soaring high despite the crash-landing of Kites last year. The beauty has been roped in for the film titled Fever which will have the dashing man of the small-screen Rajeev Khadelwal opposite her. But what’s galling is that Barbara, who hasn’t done any other Hindi film except ‘Kites’, is demanding an inordinate sum for her comeback.

In Fever, she will play the character of a linguist and it is learnt that Mori is being paid 300,000 dollars for the film. The movie will be shot in England and will be directed by Rajeev Jhaveri, who has made the award-winning short film Cold Meat.

Apart from Kites, Barbara was also seen in the dubbed version of the Mexican film Spanish Beauty, which had its share of takers. Now, with Fever, she’s set to make her mark, it seems.

In India, actresses struggle tooth and nail to reach the mark of Rs 1 crore. Barbara did that with one flop movie. Bingo!
