The ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ gal will appear on a chat show

Freida Pinto makes her debut on Indian Television
She is not going to come on Koffee With Karan where you have seen many Bollywood celebs getting candid over a cuppa koffee. The Mumbai girl Freida Pinto will make her first appearance on Indian Television with a chat show hosted by Simi Garewal.

Is it Rendezvous with Simi Garewal again? No, Simi is not coming up with another season of Rendezvous, but another chat show which sounds more interesting. Simi Selects India's Most Desirables is apparently the name of the show, and Freida has specially taken out time to do the show as she is often busy shooting in India and abroad. The Slumdog Millionaire gal is presently shooting the film Trishna in Mumbai.

Though we have had enough of Indian celebs making their way to some show or the other, we never had a glimpse of Freida on any show. It’s learnt that Simi had to convince Freida to appear on the show, and it became easier when the actress heard the concept. Freida instantly liked it!

Earlier, too, Freida was being wooed for various shows, but she chose to stay away from the media glare in her own country.
