Ashmit Patel-Veena Malik love story is over?

Call it a ‘reality’ check of a different kind, but the love story between the touchy-feely couple Ashmit Patel and Pak import Veena Malik seems to be headed to a dull end.

From the start, when the duo displayed their cuddly romance on Bigg Boss 4, there’s been an apparent one-sidedness to the whole affair, with Veena showering Ashmit with tender love and him reciprocating a measure less.

They stuck together after Bigg Boss and Veena Malik was seen by Ashmit’s side at his birthday party in January this year. There were flashes of chemistry between the couple at the party and it was clear that they were dating. But how strong was the love between them always remained a moot question.

And then in February, it was Ashmit’s turn to make Veena’s birthday special. He flew down to Delhi just to be at her birthday bash.

Rumours of love fizzling out between the two have been doing the rounds for some time, and last week, Veena got a royal snub from Ashmit’s sister Amisha Patel when she (Veena) wasn’t invited to a party thrown by her.

Veena is now reported to have left Mumbai and is back in Pakistan. However, she’s likely to return soon, for she has a career to take care of. As for the Ashmit-Veena love story, sources are quoted as saying that the chemistry between the two has gone thanda and they are just on friendly terms now.
