'Chalo Dilli' does better than 'Shor In The City' at box office
The slumber at box office continues for yet another week as the four new releases of the week opened to a very poor start at ticket windows.

What will it take to get footfalls in theatres? Game flopped. Thank You fared poorly and Dum Maaro Dum also showed no vigour. And now, four new releases -- Chalo Dilli, Shor In The City, I Am and Naughty @ 40 -- have opened to a very dull response at box office.

Chalo Dilli opened to a 15 to 20 percent response, better than Shor In The City, which has got rave reviews but only 10 to 15 percent occupancy in theatres. Govinda’s comeback film Naughty @ 40 and director Onir’s multi-storied I Am were almost washed out with extremely low occupancy on the opening Friday.

The month of May would further see the release of a lot of small-budget films. The most anticipated are Ragini MMS, Luv Ka The End, and Haunted. The next big release would be Salman Khan’s starrer Ready in June.
