Rajinikanth’s life inspires a Bollywood film?
Rajinikanth’s unusual life from an impoverished childhood to the demigod superstar in south India has now become inspiration for a Bollywood film.

We hear that Atul Agnihotri, the brother-in-law of Salman Khan, is thinking of producing a film that will chronicle the life of Rajinikanth. Reports say Atul has already spoken to Rajinikanth about this biopic and the mega star is learnt to have given his consent.

However, Rajinikanth himself will not be a part of the film. Rather, an actor from Bollywood would be roped in to play Rajini.

Since the project is still in preliminary stages, Atul prefers to keep tight-lipped about it. However, buzz is that he has roped in a new director named Lloyd Bapista, an ad filmmaker, to direct the film.

Rajinikanth’s Life
Rajinikanth was born in a Maharashtrian family in Bangalore. His mother died when he was just five. Youngest of the four siblings, he began taking odd jobs as an errand boy at a very early age. After completing his higher education, he worked as a bus conductor in Bangalore. Things took a turn in 1973 when a friend financed Rajini to study at Madras Film Institute. Lucky break came Rajini’s way when director K Balachander noticed his talent and advised him to learn Tamil. That marked the turning point in Rajini’s life. In 1974 Rajinikanth made his debut in Tamil cinema with a brief negative role in Balachander’s film. Gradually, he moved away from negative roles to play the hero. Over time, he became a superstar and today even has temples built to his name.
