The posters of Ekta Kapoor’s upcoming film Ragini MMS have been either defaced or torn down by residents in some areas of Mumbai because they were apparently too provocative. We ask our readers for their opinion.
Though any publicity is good publicity, this one the enterprising Ekta Kapoor of Balaji Entertainment had perhaps not anticipated. The new posters of Ragini MMS showing its semi-dressed lead actors Kainaz Motivala and Raj Kumar Yadav in various states of intimacy has evoked the collective ire of residents in some areas.
Claiming that the posters were “vulgar” and “bad influence”, they were torn down in Santa Cruz area. In some posters in Andheri East and Bandra Lake, the faces of the lead actors were blackened.
The film’s makers claim someone is trying to jeopardize the film’s publicity, but they are confident of getting seat bums in theatres on Friday May 13 when Ragini MMS releases.
We ask you: Do you find these posters of Ragini MMS too hot to handle?
