No one has or will ever adopt Preity Zinta.

Preity Zinta clears the air
Annoyed with the fast spreading news that she is being adopted, actress Preity Zinta has cleared the air, and posted a message online saying that no one has or ever will adopt her.

Reports alleged that Shandar Amrohi, son of late filmmaker Kamaal Amrohi, has decided to adopt Preity and make her his heir adding that Shandar Amrohi's biography From Nowhere To Somewhere will reveal all about his decision to adopt Preity and give her everything in his will.

Shandar had proclaimed to the media, "I am preparing to make a will, where I will give Preity everything that I have. Anyway, daughters have a right to everything."

Clearly miffed by the reports, Preity took to twitter and posted, "No1 has or ever will adopt me or sign me in a will. Things said in interviews and reported are far from facts as the proof is in the pudding!"

This is not the first time Shandar has claimed to have adopted Preity, some time ago he had claimed to be Preity’s adoptive father after she had supported him in a legal case pertaining to his family property. Even Shandar's brother Tajdar had told a news agency in an interview: "My brother (Shandar) considers Preity as his daughter."

Going by Preity’s response it seems that Shandar is trying to extract some publicity for his upcoming biography at Preity’s cost.
