Superstar Rajinikanth was finally moved out of the Intensive Care Unit of Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre on Sunday. The megastar was shifted to a private ward.
A doctor from the hospital is quoted as saying: “We moved him into the ward only after making sure he was completely fit. Hope we can discharge him soon.”
Rajini was shifted to the ICU of the hospital on May 18. He was given a haemodialysis because the doctors found too much fluid in his blood. The hospital’s senior cardiologist Dr. S. Thanikachalam assured the mega star’s worried fans on May 19 that Rajini was doing fine. Even the superstar’s wife Latha said that Rajini was shifted to ICU to prevent him from contracting any infection from the visitors.
To further assure the concerned fans, Rajinikanth’s daughter released a picture that showed a smiling superstar inside the hospital.
The doctors at SRMC are keeping Rajinikanth under further medical watch to ensure that his health does not decline again. He is likely to be discharged soon.
