For the song Shalu Ke Thumke which is part of the multistarrer comedy Bin Bulaye Baraati Mallika was supposed to shoot with actors Gulshan Grover, Om Puri, Rajpal Yadav, Mukesh Tiwari and Johnny Lever, but she made a demand and wanted the entire song to herself.
As a tabloid quotes a senior actor, “It was shocking. We had gone for the shoot thinking we’d be filming together (with Mallika).” In fact, choreographer of the song Ganesh Acharya who was present on that day vanished after meeting the actors. Later he admitted that he has to shoot for the song on two different days and he even felt strange about it.
The movie stars Aftab Shivdasani in lead role and there was one part in the song where Mallika Sherawat had to dance with Aftab and co-actress Priyanka Kothari. To which Mallika agreed; as per sources that was one shot which Mallika did without any tantrums.
The reason behind this odd act is better known to Mallika because earlier, she has danced with Nana Patekar in Pyar Kiya song in the movie Welcome.
