Tamil superstar Rajinikanth has reportedly been admitted to the best hospital in Singapore.
The 61-year-old mega star flew to Singapore on Saturday along with his wife Latha and two daughters Aishwarya and Soundarya. He has reportedly been admitted to Singapore’s best hospital Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre, which offers one of the best medical facilities in Asia. It is at this very hospital that Indian politician Amar Singh had his kidney transplant two years back.
On Friday Rajinikanth got discharged from Chennai’s Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre where he had been admitted since May 13. All this while the doctors maintained that Rajini’s health was stable and even on the day of his discharge from the hospital, the bulletin released by the medical centre said Rajinikanth was “cheerful”.
“He is cheerful, taking his food himself, spending time with family. He has scheduled his trip abroad for a change and relaxation and incidentally to go in for selective checkups,” said the bulletin.
Rajinikanth has been battling health complication ever since he began shooting for his new film Rana on April 29. He has been hospitalized thrice in the span of a month. Now, his fans are praying that their “Thalaivar” returns hale and hearty from Singapore.
