Vinay Pathak misses partner in crime Ranvir Shorey

We all would definitely miss watching the comic duo of Vinay Pathak and Ranvir Shorey sharing screen space in Bheja Fry 2.

But it looks like we are not the only one who wished to see them together. Vinay himself confessed that he is missing Ranvir in the sequel.

“I definitely miss Ranvir Shorey. But he was not required in the story. However, I am told that there will be another story where they will incorporate him,” Vinay told reporters while promoting the film.

In the past, Vinay and Ranvir have been seen together in many movies like Bheja Fry, Khosla Ka Ghosla and Dasvidaaniya among others. And, not to forget, the duo has won many hearts on the small screen as well. They have hosted many shows together. To name a few - Ranvir Vinay Aur Kaun? on star Plus, Duniya Goal Hain on ESPN, Great Indian Laughter Show on Star One.

Shockingly, Vinay, who is known for his comic roles, does not appreciate being tagged as a comedian. He said: “First of all, I am not a comedian. I consider myself an actor. A majority of films that I have done are not comic roles. It’s just ‘Bheja Fry’ and ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ where I played comic roles that I was branded as a comedian.” His other films like Johnny Gaddar, Khoya Khoya Chand and Manorama Six Feet Under saw him in a serious role.

Vinay, it’s true that you are a versatile actor, but right now we just hope that your forthcoming flick Bheja Fry 2 gives us tears of laughter and not disappointment!
