Sonakshi Sinha settling scores with Shahid Kapoor?
Not many know, but Sonakshi Sinha was in talks with the producers of Mausam for being cast as the female lead opposite Shahid Kapoor.

However, later on the casting team and the crew members felt that Sonakshi and Shahid did not complement each other as an on-screen couple! Some screen tests for Sonakshi were also arranged but Sonakshi has never made any statements about her not being a part of Mausam.

Buzz is that Sonakshi Sinha was mighty upset about the fact that she was not even informed that Sonam Kapoor has been cast as the female lead; and she came across this information only through the media reports!

Another buzz is that Shahid Kapoor has now expressed his eagerness to work with Sonakshi; but the latter has given a cold response since she is not too keen to work with Shahid after that snub from the Kapoors!

Shahid Kapoor’s Mausam, which is set for a September 16 release, is already capturing the limelight owing to all the controversies surrounding the film!

Already a lot has been spoken about the postponement of Mausam’s release dates due to the post production work and delay in the shooting schedule as a consequence of Sonam Kapoor’s ill health!

Well, we hope Sonakshi and Shahid draw inspiration from Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Karan Johar and settle their differences!
