|Shahrukh Khan has come under attack from Shiv Sena once again. This time the superstar is being slammed for partying while the Mumbai is mourning the loss of lives in the terror attacks on Wednesday last week.
On Friday evening, Shahrukh Khan organized a get together of close friends where a private screening of Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara was held. According to the Shiv Sena mouth piece Saamna, the screening was followed by a party to ring in Katrina Kaif’s birthday.
Besides Shahrukh, Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal, Chunky Pandey, Abhay Deol, Katrina Kaif and Karan Johar were present at the party.
Farhan even tweeted Shahrukh: “@iamsrk thanks for the super celebration last night. A perfect end to the release day... Love.”
This enraged the members of Shiv Sena who called Shahrukh a “villain” in Saamna.
Sena's paper said several prominent personalities had decided to forgo their birthday and Guru Poornima celebrations in view of the blasts. Even Aishwarya Rai had declined to receive an honour bestowed upon her by the French Government on the day of the blasts.
“But, Shah Rukh did not have the sentiment to cancel the party,” the paper said.
Shahrukh Khan has been in Shiv Sena’s crosshairs ever since he advocated the inclusion of Pakistani players in the IPL.
Immediately after the blasts, Shahrukh had expressed his grief on Twitter.
“En route india and mumbai...I am devastated and saddened by the loss in my city. May Allah bless us..want to be there as quickly as possible,” Shahrukh had tweeted.
