Sonakshi Sinha and Ajay Devgan in romantic film ‘SOS’
Sonakshi Sinha did say that she is doing a film with Ajay Devgan, but the name of the movie wasn’t revealed. Now it’s out; Sonakshi is pairing up for the first time with Ajay for the film SOS, Son of Sardar.

What made her sign the film? Firstly, she was always interested in working with the talented actor like Ajay Devgan, and then, the script of the film was very alluring. So, Sonakshi couldn’t say no. Earlier it was said that south star Tamanna might do the role. Then it was heard that the makers approached Kareena Kapoor, but since the actress is too busy with other projects she politely declined the offer. Ultimately, the movie fell into Sonakshi’s lap. Lucky she! Sonakshi has movies lined up with the big stars like Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar.

On the other hand, actor Ajay Devgan has already started working on the film, which he is also co-producing. Though he is basking in the success of Singham, it seems he has no time to celebrate. SOS - Son Of Sardar is a remake of the Telugu blockbuster Maryada Ramanna and has Punjab as its backdrop.

The movie is directed by Ashwini Dheer of Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge fame. Now something about the film: Ajay has decided to carry forward his tough, muscular look from Singham. Though the film SOS is a romantic one like its original, it also has scope for action scenes in which, obviously, Ajay is going to shine.
