Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone on the hot seat of KBC 5
With their upcoming film Aarakshan slated to release on August 12, Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone will appear on the telly show Kaun Banega Crorepati 5 to promote the movie.

The fifth season of the show will go on air from August 15. Once again, it will be hosted by the inimitable Amitabh Bachchan, who, incidentally, also plays a pivotal role in Aarakshan, directed by Prakash Jha.

“The second episode towards the evening will have invites to Saif and Deepika... who come to promote their film and mine as well - Aarakshan!” Bachchan wrote on his blog.

“In many ways the philosophy of the film and that of KBC is quite similar. Given the opportunity, even the lesser privileged shall prosper. Or at least have the capacity to prosper,” the 68-year-old star added.

In Aarakshan, Amitabh Bachchan plays the role of a college principal who is against reservations in the education system.

This would be Saif Ali Khan’s second appearance on KBC. He had appeared with actress Preity Zinta in the second season of the show at the time of the release of his film Salaam Namaste.
