Director Nagesh Kukunoor is back with another touching movie

First trailer: Ayesha Takia and Rannvijay Singh in suspense love story ‘Mod’
The ‘Hyderabad Blues’ director Nagesh Kukunoor is back with another heart wrenching movie, and is sure those who have liked and loved his film Dor will enjoy this one too. Mod brings back the lovely Ayesha Takia to silver screen.

The first trailer of Mod, a suspense love story, is out and the movie buffs have liked it. The movie is set in a small hill town where Ayesha runs a small clock-repairing shop. MTV veejay Rannvijay Singh is the hero of the film, who comes to Ayesha’s shop daily to get his wristwatch fixed. Then a romance starts between the two, which leads to a dramatic turn of events.

But the movie has a Taiwanese connection too, as it is an official remake of a Taiwanese film Keeping Watch. At the launch of the film, Nagesh says, “Mod returns to the space I dealt with and enjoyed a lot of success with, like Dor.” In fact, Nagesh has retained the same tag line as well, "How far can you go to save your love."

And as Nagesh loves working with Ayesha, it didn’t come as a surprise why the actress, who was last seen in Wanted, agreed to make a comeback after her marriage in 2009. No doubt, she is looking gorgeous as ever in the film.

Mod also stars Tanvi Azmi, Raghubir Yadav and Anant Mahadevan in pivotal roles.
