Katrina has done ‘Bodyguard’ item song for free

Katrina Kaif shoots for free just for Salman Khan
Katrina Kaif loves Salman Khan’s family as they were always with her through thick and thin when she entered the industry. The feeling of gratitude that Kat feels for Salman’s household is overwhelming. So when a chance came to do an item song in Bodyguard, which is produced by Salman’s brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri, the actress decided to do it for free.

The title track Aaya Re Aaya Bodyguard is Katrina’s first item number after she did Sheila Ki Jawani. Though things are not the same between the two, Katrina and Salman remain an item and is a hit jodi for millions of their fans. So a song featuring the two adds to the USP of the film.

Producer Atul Agnihotri is also thankful to Kat because she has always done the needful. He tells a tabloid, “It is very gracious of her to have done this. She has always been very supportive of our work and is ready to contribute in whatever way possible.”

Many won’t remember but Katrina had also done a special guest appearance in Atul’s film Hello that too for free, but the movie bombed at the box office.

Though there were rumours that Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif will never do a film together, the couple signed Yashraj’s Ek Tha Tiger early this year. Cheers to their ghazab dosti.
