|Heeding the demand of his role, actor Ravi Kishan dropped all his clothes and went starkers for his role in Chitkabrey - Shades Of Grey.
The film, slated to hit the screens Aug 26, has a scene in which Ravi Kishan’s character is hazed by college students from rich families. He is made to strip and do vulgar things.
Director Suneet Arora tells a news agency: “There is a scene in the film where Ravi Kishan's character is surrounded by economically well-to-do family students in the college and he is tortured for being nice. The more he argues the more he is tortured and is finally stripped naked and is asked to talk dirty. He is left with no choice but to give up.”
Now, the obvious question: was Ravi Kishan comfortable in going nude?
No, says the director. In fact, the shooting had to be stopped mid-way because Ravi was out of sorts filming the scene.
“We had to stop the shooting for two hours because Ravi wasn't comfortable doing the scene. Then I sat with him, discussed it and told him that the scene is the centre point of the film and the story revolves around it, so he agreed to do it. He is very professional,” revealed Arora.
Chitkabrey is a film about complexities of relationships in a world that’s interconnected and getting smaller, thanks to technology.
