Shahid and Sonam lend a personal touch to Mausam press kit

Mausam is not just another film for Shahid Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor. It’s a labour of love that took nearly two years to fructify.

So it makes sense for the film’s marketing team to come up with the idea of making Shahid, Sonam and director Pankaj Kapoor lend a personal touch to the press kit which is released for the media.

We hear that the kit will include handwritten notes by both Shahid and Sonam. In the notes the duo would share their most memorable moments while working together in Mausam.

Since the movie tells a love story against the backdrop of four different seasons, it took a long time to make, as director Pankaj Kapur, making his directorial debut, shot the movie in different weathers and climates. In fact, it is believed that even Sonam lost her patience over the speed at which the shoot was progressing.

All through the shoot, Shahid Kapoor stuck by his dad’s side determinedly. In fact, he did not shoot for any other film during the period.

And now with the film’s press kit coming up soon, we wonder what interesting tidbits Shahid and Sonam will share in their handwritten notes.
