|Basking in the super success of ‘Bodyguard’, Salman Khan is thinking of starring in another south remake. Yeah! After two smashing South remakes turning into blockbusters, it seems Salman has discovered the formula for a hit film.
So after remaking the Telugu hit Ready in Hindi, and also Malayalam film Bodyguard, the star has set his eyes on the film Kandireega. The movie starring Ram and Hansika Motwani released on August 12 this year, and is a superhit.
“Salman’s brother asked me to send the print of the film and they watched the film,” says Bellamkonda Suresh, producer of ‘Kandireega’, who also reveals that other Hindi filmmakers too are vying for the remake rights of the film.
However, the Kandireega producer, who is also making the film in Tamil, is not sure what he will do, as many from Bollywood are querying about his Kandireega.
If on one side Salman is after Kandireega, the actor is also waiting for Mahesh Babu’s action film Dookudu. Sreenu Vytla, the director of Dookudu was the one who directed Ready in Telugu. And as Ready raked in moolah for Salman, the actor has pinned his hopes on Dookudu too.
Salman will decide on one south movie to remake after he returns from the US.
