She was perhaps the first South Indian actress to pose ‘topless’ for a magazine cover. Kajal Aggarwal sans her top sizzled on FHM, sporting black slacks with big polka dots. We appreciate the actress’ guts to shed her girl-next-door image. But she says that her topless FHM cover is fake.
According to Kajal, she did not pose topless for the cover, but was wearing a black tube top which has been erased in the cover. Kajal even says she has the original image to back her claim.
So, did a famous magazine like FHM fall back on photoshop tools to strip Kajal digitally?
FHM refutes Kajal’s allegation. The magazine issued a statement confirming that the topless picture of the Singham actress is real and is not morphed.
“People, people calm down. FHM has never in the past or will in the future morph pictures of any celebrities. We shot with madam Aggarwal on the 18th of August in Mumbai and have a full team composed of assistants, stylists, makeup artists, photographers and others to back it up. We’d be happy to release the full untouched raw pictures on the Internet soon to back it up also,” says Kabeer Sharma, FHM editor.
He further adds, “To say that the picture is morphed is an insult to both the brand FHM as well as the collective intelligence of you (her fans) as well as anyone with half an idea about how Photoshop works. We don’t know what exactly made Kajal change her mind after the shoot… but if she did, the magazine really cannot be blamed.”
The topless image of Kajal Aggarwal is in the news for all the wrong reasons. The coverpage look of Kajal is also said to be a copy of a Lindsay Lohan cover look. Lindsay too appeared topless wearing translucent black slacks on the cover of Entertainment Weekly.
