The 3D format has not only caught the fancy of Hollywood, our Bollywood producers are also trying to come up with films in 3D. After Shahrukh Khan and Akshay Kumar, actor Shahid Kapoor will turn into a 3D hero.
Shahid had stopped signing films while working in dad Pankaj Kapur’s film Mausam. But now that the film has released to a good opening, Shahid is open to new projects. Now, the buzz is strong that the actor has been cast in the lead role of Sunil Bohra’s fourth version of ‘The Thief Of Baghdad’, based on the 1924 novel ‘The Thief Of Baghdad’ by Ahmed Abdullah.
The fantasy tale will get a new version when made in 3D and who else than Shahid Kapoor to play the hero. He his getting rave reviews for his acting in the film Mausam.
“Bohra has cast Shahid Kapoor in a big-budget fantasy spectacle. Ever since Mausam opened to a whopping Rs.8 crore at the box office on the first day, Bohra has been keen to get Shahid on board,” informs the source to a daily.
After Vikram Bhatt dared to make Haunted - 3d many from the industry got inspired to try their hands on 3D format. Shahrukh’s films Ra.One and Don 2 will be in 3D and so will be Akshay Kumar’s film Joker.
