Rajinikanth shoots for Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Ra.One’
To everyone’s amazement and contrary to rumours, superstar Rajinikanth arrived in Mumbai yesterday just to shoot with Shahrukh Khan for his magnum opus Ra.One.

Though the family of superstar had earlier made it clear that he wouldn’t shoot for any scene in Ra.one, Rajinikanth came to Mumbai and shot for the much talked about scene with Shahrukh at Subhash Ghai’s Whistling Woods studio on Sunday. Rajini’s daughter Soundarya was by his side.

As Rajinikanth’s health is still not well, daughter Soundarya brought along a team of technicians from Chennai to make sure that no time is wasted. She made it clear that her father would not be able to shoot for more than a couple of hours, reveal sources.

Producer Shahrukh Khan was also more than happy to have Rajini Sir on the sets. They hit it off instantly, and it’s said that Shahrukh Khan went out of his way to make the shoot comfortable for Rajini Sir, who is still recuperating and hasn’t resumed the shooting of his own film Rana.

What was the special scene all about? The shot is reportedly a mock-up of the ‘Robot’ scene where the robotic Rajini turns magnetic and attracts all the metal guns. In this scene, however, it is Shahrukh who tries to do the same. But the guns don’t come to him. In fact, all the metallic objects fly past SRK to the one man standing behind him, that’s Rajinikanth!
