Simi Garewal’s attempt to wring out the truth from Rani Mukherjee about her alleged relationship with Aditya Chopra came to naught.
Simi’s show India’s Most Desirable has seen some interesting confessions and revelations from stars like John Abraham and Ranbir Kapoor. Now, Simi hoped for a few similar bombshells from Rani Mukherjee; and what better shocker than an open admission of love from Rani.
Reports say that before the show, Simi met up with Rani backstage and struck a cordial chat about Rani’s personal life. The hostess wanted to make the actress comfortable before the shoot so that Rani doesn’t feel awkward answering personal questions on the show.
Surprisingly, while Rani shared a few secrets with Simi before the show, once the cameras began to roll and Simi tossed the same personal question at Rani, the actress denied with a straight face that she had any relationship with the Chopra scion.
Sources say Rani’s flip-flop did come as a surprise to Simi but the latter did not press the actress on the matter.
Now, the word is that the portion where Simi asks Rani personal questions might be even edited out in the final version of the show because the hostess didn’t get the shocking revelations she hoped to elicit from Rani.
