Shahrukh Khan helped Kareena Kapoor in styling her look for ‘Ra.One’
Kareena Kapoor is yummy mummy in Ra.One, and has donned all sorts of chic dresses in the film. Her sensuously glamorous look in red sari for the song Chammak Challo has caught the fancy of the fans and fashionistas alike. But Bebo says that her character’s look in ‘Ra.One’ is simple, and not over the top. In fact, the movie’s producer and leading man Shahrukh Khan also gave her valuable tips on styling for ‘Ra.One’.

Kareena plays Sonia Subramanian in the film and insists that the idea was to maintain a simple yet fashionable and glamorous approach towards her character, who is a smart lassie and modern-day mother. “My look is chic, but minimal,” says Bebo.

Manish Malhotra, who usually styles Kareena Kapoor in most of her films, knows that she is a style diva. But for the movie Kareena didn’t feel the need to go overboard with her look. Shahrukh Khan was also involved as he is very particular about every detail of this ambitious project. Kareena is quoted as saying, “He gave us some useful feedback and the results are for everyone to see.”

Kareena is also glad that people loved her look in the songs Chammak Challo and Criminal, and that her dresses are trend setters. Can we remember any other actress setting fashion trend with her cotton kurtis (Jab We Met) and simple salwar suits (Bodyguard)?
