Shahrukh Khan approached Karan Johar and Aditya Chopra for directing ‘Ra.One’

We are sure you wondered why Karan Johar and Aditya Chopra, being Shahrukh Khan’s best friends, are not directing Ra.One. Instead the superstar handed over the megaphone to Anubhav Sinha! Well, it isn’t that SRK didn’t approach them! But, they declined to direct the film. Why?

On a chat show with Preity Zinta, Shahrukh Khan revealed: “I went to all directors to make this film (Ra.One) and even my own friends like Karan or Aditya.”

SRK added on a lighter note: “They all are lallu (idiots) I’d say. I wanted to do something more than a romantic comedy.”

Shahrukh Khan revealed on twitter about fantastic improvement in Rajinikanth’s health condition. Meanwhile, seems like this is perhaps the busiest phase of Shahrukh Khan’s life! He is travelling across places for the promotions of his film Ra.One. However, he is also wary about his fans’ wellbeing! Well, SRK was in Vadodra for promoting Ra.One and wrote after the promotional event: “had young boys & girls following me on their two wheelers waving out & screaming. please please be careful doing that i get scared for u all.”

Ra.One is slated to release this Diwali, 26th October, and SRK has even revealed that he will try and release a trailer featuring Rajinikanth asap! Now wouldn’t that be a cracker before the box office blast on Diwali!
