Ranbir Kapoor would be happy to see Deepika Padukone settled

All is well between former lovers Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone. The duo will soon start working in Ayan Mukherjee’s film Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, and Ranbir is not jittery about romancing Deepika on big screen.

While talking to a daily, Ranbir shares a lot about his then-and-now relationship with Deepika. The actor even said that he has nothing to do with the casting of the film.

Ayan Mukherjee’s movie is a coming-of-age romance about how urban youngsters treat love nowadays, doing crazy things when they fall for each other. Earlier, it was said that Katrina Kaif might star in the film, but later it was confirmed that Ayan has chosen Deepika. And Ranbir was cool about the decision.

So, there is no bad blood between the two matured individuals and, as Ranbir puts it: “Never harbour negativity.” Ranbir even says he cares for Deepika, as “I’ve grown up as a person with her, which is why I never share intimate details of our relationship with anyone. I have to ensure her future doesn’t get into trouble because of our past. I’d be really happy to see her settled some day.”

Ranbir and Deepika have taken their relationship to a different level, and are friends. Both are looking forward to work in Ayan Mukherjee’s film Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.
