Many would unequivocally describe Robert De Niro as one of the best actors in the world. For long, Anupam Kher has dreamed of working with the multiple Oscar winner. Now, that dream is set to be fulfilled.

Kher is to act in the new film The Silver Linings Playbook, starring De Niro as one of the leads.

“Dream finally coming true. Will be acting with Robert De Nero in David O Russell's (The Fighter) 'The Silver Linings Playbook' next week (sic),” Kher, 56, posted on Twitter.

Kher will begin shooting from next week for the project based on author Matthew Quick's book of the same title. The film is being directed by The Fighter director David O Russell.

Kher revealed that the film also stars Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence.

“'The Silver Linings Playbook' also stars Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence, Chris Tucker and Jackie Weaver. As I say Kucch Bhi Ho Sakta Hai (Anything can happen),” he added.

The film is expected to release in 2013.

Kher has appeared in many international projects including the recent You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger.
