He is the most suave host Indians have seen on telly. After lighting up the big screen with his charisma, Amitabh Bachchan continues his magical spell on small screen with Kaun Banega Crorepati 5, the show that continues to garner maximum TRPs. Admit it, we all are big, crazy fans of him, but the superstar is a fan of the serial ‘Bade Acche Lagte Hain’.
Amitabh Bachchan has already shot with the couple of ‘Bade Acche Lagte Hain’ and the episode will go on air next week with Sony-KBC celebrating the Jodi special. The big admirer of the show, Amitabh writes on his blog, “I had spoken about my experience on the TV about the serial I saw and the artists of which I admired. The serial was ‘Bade Achche Lagte Hai’ and the artists were Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar. Original, relaxed, meaningful and competent.”
Amitabh didn’t let his flow of emotions stop here and added further about his experience with the cast of the show ‘Bade Acche Lagte Hain’, “They (Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar) were down on the set of KBC and playing for a charity that was going to help the poor with cancer, and to be able to build a centre for paraplegics.
“Such warmth and such a delight to be in their company. Natural, relaxed and without a glimmer of their star status, they seemed to have impressed all in their assessment of me.”
‘Bade Acche Lagte Hain’ is one of the recent shows of Ekta Kapoor that went on air on May 30, 2011. The show has gained immense popularity because of its unusual storyline and the unique couple. The story of the serial is about Ram Kapoor, an entrepreneur in his forties, who hails from a rich family; and Priya Sharma, a simple middle-class girl in her early thirties. Both get married for their families’ sake and will find love gradually.
