Superstar Rajinikanth assures ‘Rana’ is not shelved!

Rajinikanth will restart his mired project Rana soon! Though the movie’s shoot got postponed once again from October to December, Rajinikanth assures that all is well. The star wants to be fit enough to do action sequences in Rana which also stars Deepika Padukone in lead role.

As per reports, Rajinkanth recently met a group of workers from the sets of Rana who came to meet him to know about his well-being. They had been hearing rumours about Rajnikanth starting the shoot of Rana soon. But when it got postponed, all of them decided to meet the star, and thus arrived in Chennai.

As a source tells a tabloid, “It’s quite difficult to get to meet him these days especially, because he has been resting. But when he heard that a bunch of people had come to inquire about his health, he made sure he gave them time.”

These worried workers are slogging hard to create a life-size set for the film at Ramoji in Hyderabad. But the superstar himself assured them that he will be back in action, and inspired them to work hard instead of stalling everything because of his health.

As the role demands intense physical activity like horse riding and wearing costumes weighing around 25 kilos, Rajni wants to be fully fit to jumpstart again.

However, ever since Rajinikanth completed the shoot of Shahrukh Khan’s Diwali release Ra.One, his fans and the entire Rana team is thrilled and excited. At present, director K.S. Ravikumar is busy finalizing the venues and foreign locations for the shoot. Rana is a big-budget action flick in which Rajni plays triple role. His daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth and Eros International jointly are producing the film.
