South Indian actress Shriya Saran is shocked, scared and angry. She was attacked by a crowd in Hyderabad while shooting for a Telugu film.
The actress was preparing for her shot when a crowd of Telangana supporters gathered at the spot and demanded her to say “Jai Telangana”. Shriya reveals that she said the slogan once but the crowd demanded her to say it again in front of TV cameras. When she refused, the crowd got unruly.
And when Shriya tried to leave the venue in her car, she says the crowd surrounded the car and someone threw in a stone that broke the side windows of the vehicle.
“How can they break my car, throw stones, stop shoot and threaten me to say Jai Telangala on TV. That too in broad day light, Police staring at all of this! what about freedom? Safety?” an angry Shriya wrote on her Twitter page and she posted the images of her damaged car.
“Thank god the stone didn't hit me. Both the windows are broken. Seriously! I'm disgusted. I'm born in India and I deserve my freedom and safety is my right!” Shriya added.
“Isn't this crazy? Stone fell next to my head. Hit the other window as well,” Shriya wrote.
