Anushka Sharma is not trying to woo Ranbir Kapoor

Ever since the start of her career, Anushka Sharma has always been in the news. Just when rumours about her alleged relationship with Ranveer Singh cooled down, grapevine suggested that she is trying to woo Ranbir Kapoor so as to be cast as the female lead opposite him in Ayan Mukherjee’s next: Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani.

Needless to say, Anushka has not taken these reports with open arms! Anushka said that she hangs out with Ranbir and Ayan because they are acquaintances and not for any professional benefits. She said that just for the reason that she does not have a godfather in the industry does not mean she would try to woo other actors and directors!

The actress even talked about Ranveer Singh and said that she never dated him and it was just the media that came out with such rumours. Anushka was also mighty upset about the fact that some reports suggested that Ranveer and Anushka’s relationship is just a publicity stunt for their upcoming movie Ladies V/s Ricky Bahl.

Anushka retorted by saying that neither she nor Ranveer would ever go down to that level just for publicity! She said she is currently single and has never even been on a formal date with any guy!

Looks like the Ladies V/s Ricky Bahl actress can write a whole new book on the media V/s Anushka Sharma. Wink.
