Aamir Khan’s next film is titled 'Talaash' Aamir Khan
The long and brain-storming search for the title of Aamir Khan’s next film, co-produced by him, has ended with Talaash.

The movie directed by Reema Kagti has been foisted with titles like An Act of Murder and later Dhuaan, but the authenticity of these titles always remained...well, under smoke.

Now, Aamir Khan has himself come out in the open and tinseltowncried that the title is neither of the two aforementioned names. Rather, it’s titled Talaash, meaning search.

Aamir plays a police officer in the film. The leading ladies are Kareena Kapoor and Rani Mukherjee.

That might partly explain the reason why Kareena has been grinning ear-to-ear lately. After a blockbuster with Salman (Bodyguard) and a relatively successful Ra.One with Shahrukh, Kareena needed a film with Mr. Perfectionist himself to make a clean sweep.

Talaash is co-produced by Aamir Khan, Farhan Akhar and Ritesh Sidhwani.

The last Bollywood movie to be titled Talaash was the 2003 film directed by Suneel Darshan. The film was a box office turkey. We hope this Talaash won’t end up with the same fate. We will know when the film releases on June 1, 2012.
