Sonakshi Sinha chooses ‘Dabangg 2’ over ‘Race 2’ Sonakshi Sinha
This must have been the toughest decision to take for Sonakshi Sinha! The Shotgun Junior had to quit Race 2 so as to work in Dabangg 2!

Well, Sonakshi had signed Abbas-Mustan’s Race 2 quite some time back. But since the schedule of Dabangg 2 required the same dates as Race 2, Sonakshi chose to opt out from the latter.

Reports suggest that after the falling out with the director of Dabangg Abhinav Kashyap, the film’s producer Arbaaz Khan feels that whosoever is not willing to work in Dabangg 2 is actually planning to work in Abhinav’s next!

Apparently, Sonakshi Sinha realizes this fact and wants to take no chances and spoil relations with Salman Khan and his family as they were to ones who gave her a dream debut in the form of Dabangg.

Grapevine even suggests that since Race 2 also stars Deepika Padukone, Sonakshi easily chose Dabangg 2 considering the fact that she plays the solo female lead in the movie.

Director Abbas from Abbas-Mustan has even confirmed the news and said that Sonakshi told them that she has to shoot for Dabangg 2 in March. So they had no other option but to let her go!

Looks like Dabangg 2 has won Sonakshi in the Race of dates! Wink.
