The expectant mom was accompanied to the hospital by her husband Abhishek Bachchan and father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan.
The doctors reportedly advised that Aishwarya Rai be admitted to hospital before she goes into labour, just to be on the safe side.
The Bachchans have reportedly booked a VVIP suite on the top floor of the hospital. Aishwarya’s mom Vrinda Rai will be staying at the hospital with Ash.
The bookies have been betting on the possible day of the arrival of Aishwarya’s baby. First, it was speculated that the Bachchans would go for C-section delivery for the baby to be born on the unique date of 11.11.11. But that was strongly denied by the Bachchan family. Then it was hoped that the child would come on November 14, the Children’s Day.
Big B tweeted: “A day of expectation .. but another day ! The Lord has his ways and they are most special .. we wait !!”
