But there was a moment in this whirlwind promotional spree when Akshay Kumar was posed with a touchy question by a reporter. Rumours have been rife that Akshay’s wife Twinkle Khanna wasn’t happy about an item number by Priyanka Chopra in the movie, and the item was subsequently dropped from the movie on her behest.
When asked about this, Akshay surely wasn’t pleased.
“Aap iss baare main Priyanka se kyon nahi poochte. Maine aapse aapki biwi ke baare main poocha? Nahi naa? Aapko accha lagega agar main aapki biwi aur ghar ke baare main baat karoon,” Akshay retorted.
However, most of the time, Akshay Kumar was in good mood and displayed flashes of his good humour.
When asked about his chemistry with John Abraham, he said: “We’re like sisters. Though the movie deals with bromance, it’s not the Dostana kind. We were very comfortable with each other and that showed on the screen too.”
The cast of the film promoted the film at various spots including the Chattarpur, Vasant Kunj, IIPM, and DT Cinemas.
