Aishwarya Rai’s daughter nicknamed ‘Beti B’

Until the Bachchans come up with a formal name for Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan’s baby girl, Abhishek has given her a nickname.

The nickname was suggested by Abhishek’s Game co-star Shahana Goswami. It’s ‘Beti B’.

“And till we find a name for the little lady a dear friend @ShahanaGoswami gave me a great one. We have Sr B and Jr B already so... Beti B!” Abhishek Bachchan wrote on Twitter.

The Bachchans have been inundated with various suggestions of names ever since Aishwarya Rai gave birth to her daughter on November 16.

“Thank you all for sending in suggestions for names for the baby ... some of them really good ... will run it by the parents .. !!” Amitabh Bachchan wrote on his Twitter page.

Amitabh Bachchan also clarified that Aishwarya Rai gave a normal delivery to the baby girl and didn’t undergo a C-section as some in the media have been suggesting.

“A word of appreciation too, to the print media for highlighting a few salient points .. our joy in welcoming the girl child and emphasizing the commendable desire of Aishwarya in having a normal delivery without any epidural or pain killers. The often coined phrase ' too posh to push' was put to rest in her case .. she was determined to do it the way she felt was correct!” Big B added.

Aishwarya Rai and her baby are likely to be discharged from the Seven Hills Hospital in Marol soon.
