Now that Rockstar has released and is doing well at theatres, its lead actors Ranbir Kapoor and Nargis Fakhri are maintaining distance from each other.

There has already been a raft of reports about a brewing romance between Ranbir and Nargis, but one never anticipated that the duo would drift apart so soon. At a party thrown by the celebrity management company KWAN at Grand Hyatt last week, both Ranbir Kapoor and Nargis Fakhri seemed discreet in keeping away from each other. To begin with, they came to the party separately.

Not that they did not exchange any pleasantries, but once the hello, hi, and perfunctory greeting was over, the two went their own way and did not mingle thereafter.

The two made for a picture that’s in complete contrast to what we saw at Rockstar concert in run-up to the movie’s release, where Ranbir and Nargis put up a show of their torrid passion-play on stage.

But now, Nargis Fakhri seems to be emerging from the shadow of Rockstar and Ranbir Kapoor and trying to make friends, form her own PR, and emerge as a lady in her own right. At the do, she was seen bonding with Deepika Padukone and Genelia D’Souza.

And what’s gentlemanly on Ranbir’s part is giving Nargis the space she needs. After all, he’s already said that he and Nargis never dated and she was in fact embarrassed of being linked with him.
