Akshay Kumar has a huge fan following across the globe! However, it looks like celebrities, too, dote on Khiladi Kumar! Deepika Padukone has revealed in a recent interview that she is really fond of Akshay Kumar.

Deepika has already been seen romancing Akshay in a couple of movies: Chandni Chowk To China and Housefull. The character she plays in Desi Boyz, however, requires her not to like Akshay! And that is why she found this role challenging!

Deepika said that she is not used to hate Akshay since the two have always romanced each other on screen before Desi Boyz. She added that she is extremely fond of Akshay in real life and that is what made it all the more difficult to hate him in front of the camera.

However, Deepika also said that she is happy to do something she has never done before and the audience, too, will be thrilled to watch them (Akshay and Deepika) in a love and hate relationship. The gorgeous diva also said that she, Akshay, and John Abraham share a great rapport off screen and that shows in their on-screen chemistry as well.

Desi Boyz releases today, 25th November.
