Madhur Bhandarkar knows his heroine will not disappoint

Director Madhur Bhandarkar is sure about one thing: his heroine Kareena Kapoor will not disappoint. So, what’s with the reports that the ‘soon-to-get-married’ Kareena will not shoot intimate scenes with any of the co-stars as it a kind of a pact between her and beau Saif Ali Khan? But it’s certainly hogwash as Kareena is giving her cent percent to the film and even cried (no foul cry) while shooting for some emotional scenes.
While talking to a daily, the director of Heroine says, “She won’t ever disappoint her directors. She never asks for alterations in scenes…. So, I don’t know anything about any news story, but I know my heroine is doing a fabulous job.”
As for now Madhur has only Heroine on his mind. The director was keeping low when his film got stalled because of Aishwarya Rai’s pregnancy. It was earlier said that Kareena had problems with the intimate scenes when she was first approached for the film which eventually led her to say no. But as Kareena is back in and as Heroine, she is game for it. Madhur is overjoyed to see her into the skin of the character which requires gutsy portrayal on big screen.
Kareena has already shot for some intense dramatic scenes and even reportedly broke down on the sets a couple of times. Madhur confirms, saying it’s true! Kareena actually had tears while enacting the scenes. He couldn’t have asked for a better actress than Bebo for Heroine.
The movie’s shoot will soon take a small break and resume in January with the second schedule.
