Amitabh Bachchan in Shirish Kunder’s film 'Common Man'
After much deliberation, Amitabh Bachchan signs his next film

Amitabh Bachchan recently rued about the lack of good scripts coming his way. Well, at last the newly turned granddad has finally given his nod to a film by director Shirish Kunder.
Amitabh Bachchan will star in Shirish Kunder's next project Common Man to be made after Kunder is through with Joker but before his Kick with Salman Khan in May 2012.
“So finally a decision ! Doing Shirish Kunder's film 'Common Man'. Starting in a couple of months .. koi bhi insaan aam nahi hota!” Amitabh Bachchan confirmed the news on his Twitter page.
Shirish Kunder said it was his dream to work with Amitabh.
“My dream to work with @SrBachchan finally comes true. Have waited for 6 years for the right script. And COMMON MAN is that film.
“COMMON MAN is an inspiring story that every person can relate to and inspire them to realize their uniqueness and achieve success through it,” Kunder tweeted.
The 38-year-old filmmaker is married to choreographer and director Farah Khan. He has previously made Salman Khan starrer 'Jaan-e-Mann' and is currently working on Akshay Kumar-Sonakshi Sinha starrer 3D film 'Joker'.
Kunder revealed that the first reaction to the announcement of his film with Amitabh Bachchan has been phenomenal.
