Karan Johar’s 2011 Bollywood review

Karan Johar is a seasoned filmmaker! So, it is definitely a tough job to impress him! And now that the year 2011 is about to end, Karan revealed his favourite Bollywood movie, director, actors and songs for 2011.

The director of films like Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and My Name Is Khan sure has a taste for cinema. He shared his opinion about the best of 2011 on a micro-blogging site.

Favourite movie and director: “ZNMD (Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara) is my favourite film of the year and Zoya (Akhtar) my favourite director!!!!”

Favourite actor and actress: “Ranbir and Vidya are undoubtedly the performances of the year for Rockstar and The Dirty Picture respectively!!!”

Favourite song: “Chammak Challo is my favourite song of 2011 and Ooh La La is a close second!!! Take a bow Vishal and Shekhar!!!”

And when we talk of Karan Johar, how can we leave behind his brother-like Shahrukh Khan? Karan was all praises for Shahrukh Khan and wrote: “@iamsrk pulled all stops with RA ONE and made it the most incredible tech savvy film of indian cinema!!!! He has the POWER!!!! Way to go!!!”

He added: “And with his super sexy DON act...@iamsrk proves that he can be the best lover and the meanest man on celluloid with equal panache!!!”
