What will be the name of Aishwarya Rai’s baby?

More than a month and a half after she was born, Aishwarya Rai’s baby is still without a name, but the Bachchans are learnt to have zeroed down on a few names.

It’s no secret that the little one’s name will start with an ‘A’, that being something Abhishek Bachchan himself has made clear to everyone. The Bachchans have been wracking their brains for the best name for Aishwarya’s baby and have struck out quite many names from the list that was prepared from the innumerable suggestions that poured in right after AB’s baby was born.

Now, the list has been whittled down to three names, one of which apparently starts with double ‘A’. Buzz is that Aishwarya Rai has had the first say in finalizing these names, but it is Amitabh Bachchan who will have the final say in picking the name. Not to mention, like any close knit family, the Bachchans are considerate of each other’s likes and dislikes.

So expect to have the name of the Aishwarya Rai’s baby out soon. Abhishek Bachchan is presently busy touring the country for the promotion of his film Players which comes out this Friday.

In all likelihood, the name of the baby will be announced around the time of the film’s release.
